We’re proud to share that Sydnexis was named the poster session winner at Vision by Design 2025, the annual conference hosted by the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC). This event brings together clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders dedicated to advancing the science and practice of myopia management.
Our poster presents findings from a preclinical study evaluating how formulation factors—specifically pH and the preservative benzalkonium chloride (BAK)—affect the pharmacologic response to low-dose atropine. Results showed that a neutral pH formulation containing BAK produced greater and more sustained pupil dilation compared to an acidified, BAK-free formulation, suggesting that these variables can significantly influence drug bioavailability and efficacy in low-dose atropine therapies
